Hey guys! I don’t completely use up products often, but I have started to make an effort to actually finish things. These specific items have been sitting on the bathroom counter for weeks and my husband keeps asking me if I’m going to throw them away. Yes, I’ll throw them out I just have to take pictures first! He just doesn’t understand…
Schmidt’s Bergamot and Lime Natural Deodorant ($4.99) – Best deodorant! Hands down! I have tried other brands of natural deodorants and this is the only brand that works! Do I still sweat? Yes, this is not an antiperspirant. Is that kind of uncomfortable? Yes. But, I don’t smell bad when I sweat which is all you can ask for in a natural deodorant!
I walked out of a 75 minute hot yoga class and didn’t smell like body odor! If that’s not a win I don’t know what is!
Would I repurchase? Absolutely! And I already have!
MAC Lingering Eyebrows Pencil – I really liked this pencil and I think I used it up rather quickly. However, I do prefer the It Cosmetics Brow Power Universal Eyebrow Pencil because it’s amazing!
Would I repurchase? No, because I love the It pencil so much. Also because I don’t think they make this anymore.
Lorac Take a Brow in Brunette – I have had this for a really long time. So long, in fact, that I’m sure it expired years ago. I used this product in China. I was in China in 2012. That was a long time ago. So, let’s not talk about that…
As you can see, I used the crap out of this product. It originally came with a dark brown and a light brown. I used the dark brown first because I thought I needed really dark eyebrows for some reason? Again, let’s not talk about it. Then I used the light brown which was actually perfect for me. Hey, you live and learn. I absolutely loved it!
Would I repurchase? Yes! But I don’t think they sell this anymore.
EM Cosmetics Illustrative Eyeliner Brush Tip ($15.00) – This eyeliner was my absolute favorite! I wore this every day for quite a long time. I even wore this to a metal festival and my eyeliner didn’t budge! If that’s not the ultimate test I don’t know what is. The rest of my makeup did not stay on, but my eyeliner was on point.
The thing I really love about this eyeliner (beside the staying power) is the fine tip! It was so easy to make a perfect cat-eye! And the tip stays true until the very end, unlike other brands that have frayed on me.
Would I repurchase? Absolutely!
Aurora Intensively Precise Eyeliner ($8.00) – I got this in an Ipsy bag a while ago. I like this eyeliner a lot! After a while it started to dry up and I couldn’t get a perfect cat eye anymore. The very tip stops holding the eyeliner so it was impossible. This was incredibly annoying and I tossed it aside.
However, I then discovered that it is a duel tip eyeliner. You remove the tip and insert the old end into the pen and there’s another tip! It’s like getting a new eyeliner! This feature really made it for me!
Would I (re)purchase? Yes! Plus it’s so cheap! How could you not?
Marc Anthony Hydrating Coconut Oil & Shea Butter ($6.99) – I received this in a subscription box a while ago. I believe it was Birchbox. I love coconut oil and I love shea butter so I thought this product would be great!
After I used it a few times I didn’t notice the same difference in my hair as I notice with plain coconut oil so I looked at the ingredients. Neither coconut oil nor shea butter are listed in even the first six ingredients!
The first three ingredients are: cyclopentasiloxane, cyclohexasiloxane and dimethicone. Seriously? Silicones in my hair products? This isn’t coconut oil and shea butter it’s silicones with a hint of natural stuff. No thank you.
Would I (re)purchase? Are you kidding? No, I’ll stick to plain coconut oil, thank you.
Have you used any of these products? What did you think? Let me know in the comments!
Thanks for reading! Until next time!
