Colourpop Haul Review

Hey guys!

I’ve had some time to play around with my Colourpop purchases so I thought I’d let you guys know what I think about them!

Let’s start with the concealer. I love this concealer! It matches my skin perfectly (I bought Light 20) and it looks very natural. The one thing about this concealer, like most concealers, is that it creases quite a bit. I find that this happens with most concealers so I check it before I leave the house and kind of blend it in again. After the first check it does fairly well but I’ve made a habit of checking in the mirror periodically to smooth it out just in case.

The concealer looks great on my nose! I decided to try it because my nose is pretty pink and you can usually see it through my foundation (I normally stick with light/medium coverage because I like my freckles to come through). It lasts on my nose throughout the day and none of the pink is visible, which is such a nice change! Constantly hearing people ask you if you’re sick or if you have allergies is really annoying.

The Dream St. palette (which is the collaboration with Kathleen Lights) is amazing. Okay, I know I love her and I love her channel so I might be a little biased. But when she said that this palette is versatile I was like “sure, girl, whatever you say because I love you” but it really is! I’ve used this palette for my everyday work looks and also for date nights with the hubby. The eyeshadows are pigmented and blend so easily!

The highlighter in the shade Flexitarian is blinding. It’s so beautiful! It’s obviously not an every day kind of highlighter because who am I trying to blind at the office? I have put it in my inner corner a few times to kick up my eyes a bit. I absolutely recommend this highlighter if you want to take your highlight to the next level!

The bronzer in the shade Private Party is better than I expected it to be. When I swatched it on my arm it barely showed up, but when I dipped a brush in there it definitely picked up some product. Honestly this is probably because I went for it (haha). It does have quite a bit of pickup, but it blends out nicely. It also doesn’t look too shimmery like I was afraid it would. Just be careful when applying! This is very pigmented!

Let’s talk about the gel eyeliner in the shade Mr. Bing. I want to love this so much. The reviews on the Colourpop website are amazing, the name is clever and I’m a huge Friends fan. The color is absolutely beautiful! I don’t even wear brown eyeliners and I love it. But, and this is a big but, it doesn’t stay on. I wore this eyeliner to work and my first bathroom trip I noticed it was almost gone. Such a bummer…

The last product was the free lip gloss that I received in the shade Polished. I love this lip gloss because it’s such a pretty metallic color. Does it last? No. But I don’t particularly expect lip gloss to have crazy lasting power.

What do you guys think? Have you tried any of these products?

Be well!
